The State University of New York at Geneseo has announced its Dean's List for the fall semester 2017. To be on the list, a student must have achieved at least a 3.5 grade point average while taking a minimum of 12 credit hours.
The State University of New York at Potsdam will recognize more than 1,000 candidates for graduation during the College's 2017 Commencement Ceremony on Saturday, May 20. The SUNY Potsdam Class of 2017 will be awarded baccalaureate and master's degrees at the ceremony.
More than 200 SUNY Potsdam students completed one or more internship placements at companies, non-profits or campus departments in the Spring 2014 semester. SUNY Potsdam's internship program places students with employers whose interests align with their studies. Each student has a faculty sponsor, and earns between 1 and 12 credits toward their degree requirements for successfully completing the internship.
Students pursue international internships, do original research, engage in meaningful service learning and form lasting bonds and friendships, all while improving their employment prospects.

The University at Albany is recognizing 177 outstanding high school seniors from the greater Capital District and beyond as recipients of its 2010 Multicultural High School Achievers Awards. Selected for exemplary academic performance and leadership in their schools and communities, the award winners are being honored at a special event on Saturday, Oct. 2. They will take part in campus tours and information sessions. The awards ceremony will begin at 11:30 a.m. in Lecture Center 18 on UAlbany's main campus at 1400 Washington Ave. Now in its 23rd year, the recognition program is designed to honor outstanding students and encourage them to continue their leadership development in college. To date, the program has recognized 4200 students of color. One of the UAlbany's distinctive strengths is its diversity.
